Public Consultation on Tax Treatment On Royalties For Payment Of Software To A Non-Resident

On 29 September 2023, LHDNM issued a public consultation inviting stakeholders to comment on the proposed “Public Ruling: Tax Treatment On Royalties For Payment Of Software To A Non-Resident” (Public Ruling).

Members are advised to submit their comments on the Public Ruling via kufeedback@hasil.gov.my starting from 29 September 2023 to 12 October 2023.

e-Invoicing General Guideline (Version 2.0) and e-Invoicing Specific Guideline (Version 1.0)

Further to our announcement on 21 July 2023 relating to the e-invoicing General Guidelines issued by the LHDNM, LHDNM had on 29 September 2023 released the e-Invoicing General Guideline (Version 2.0) and e-Invoicing Specific Guideline (Version 1.0).

The e-Invoicing General Guideline (Version 2.0) and e-Invoicing Specific Guideline (Version 1.0) can be accessed via https://www.hasil.gov.my/e-invois/.
