LHDNM - Termination of Revenue Stamps and Post Office Franking Machines as Stamping Methods

Further to our announcement released on 31 July 2023 relating to the termination of adhesive stamps (revenue stamps) as a stamping method, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDNM) had on 21 August 2023 issued a Media Release stating that the use of revenue stamps and post office franking machines as stamping methods on agreement/document by the public throughout Malaysia will be terminated with effect from 1 January 2024.

The application for stamping and payment of stamp duty can be performed online via Stamp Duty Assessment and Payment System (STAMPS) portal at https://stamps.hasil.gov.my/stamps/ without being present at the stamp duty counter.
