Ms. Samantha Tai is a member of the Council, having been elected in July 2022.

She currently serves as the Chairman of the Technical Compliance & Governance Committee (TCGC), as well as a member of the Education Committee, Young Company Secretaries Working Group and Thought Leadership Committee. Additionally, she represents the Institute on the ASEAN Corporate Secretaries Network (ACSN).

Currently, Samantha is the Chief Executive Officer of Boardroom Malaysia and the Managing Director of Asia, Corporate Secretarial, Boardroom Group. She has over 30 years of experience in corporate governance and the corporate secretarial industry, providing trusted advice on corporate needs to leaders in Malaysia and across the region.

Samantha holds directorships with the Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors (MACD) and is also a member of the TAR UMT Thought Leadership Committee.

She is currently a Fellow and Chartered Governance Professional of MAICSA.
