FCIS (CS) (CGP) (Dipa Kaur)

Ms. Dipak Kaur (“Dipa”) was appointed Deputy President of MAICSA in July 2024. She was first elected to the Council in October 2021 and re-elected in July 2023. She has served as Vice President and Honorary Treasurer. Currently, she is Deputy Chairman of the Technical Compliance & Governance Committee (TCGC) and the Survey Task Force, and a member of the Thought Leadership Committee. She chaired the Taskforce for the Corporate Governance Guide for Non-Listed Companies, published by MAICSA in 2023.

Dipa represents the Institute on the Corporate Practice Consultative Forum (CPCF), the CPCF Technical Committee, the CPCF Technical Focus Group, and the Company Secretaries Consultative Group (CSCG).

Dipa is currently the Company Secretary of the Maxis Berhad Group of Companies. She has extensive experience in corporate secretarial work, corporate regulations, and governance matters across various public listed and private Malaysian companies. In her role as Company Secretary of the Maxis Berhad Group, she actively provides governance and advisory support to the Chairman, Directors, Board, Board Committees and management.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, Masters in Law (LLM) from University Malaya, a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Graduate of ICSA (now known as Chartered Governance Institute [CGI]), a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Directors, and a Certificate in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex. Additionally, she holds a Certificate of Legal Practice and is a non-practising Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

Dipa is a Fellow and Chartered Governance Professional of MAICSA.
