Assoc. Prof. Noorbijan serves as the Honorary Secretary of MAICSA, having been appointed to this position in July 2024.

Previously, she served as Honorary Treasurer (2023/2024). She was elected to the Council in July 2022. Currently, she holds the positions of Chairman of the Education Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Membership Committee. Additionally, she represents the Institute in the Corporate Practice Consultative Forum (CPCF) Sub-Committee for Restructuring Insolvency and Practice, established by the Companies Commission of Malaysia. She is also one of the Institute's representatives on the MAICSA – CTIM Joint Working Committee.

In her professional capacity, Assoc. Prof. Noorbijan is a part-time lecturer at the Institute of Continuing Education and Professional Studies (iCEPS) UiTM Shah Alam, Selangor. With over 36 years of teaching experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and expertise, particularly in the areas of Governance, Financial Accounting and Reporting, and Corporate Secretaryship.

Beyond her academic roles, she is a member of a non-profit organisation (NGO) known as Majlis Aspirasi Kebangsaan Masyarakat Sivil (RUMPUN).

She is currently a Fellow and Chartered Governance Professional of MAICSA.
