On 30 August 2024, LHDNM issued a media release reminding the public to be cautious of any suspicious emails, links, and phone calls related to tax matters and government special assistance. The public is advised not to fill out or provide any personal information on dubious websites/links or through phone calls to prevent the misuse of their personal data by irresponsible parties.
