Federal Legislation - Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Bill 2024
On 16 July 2024, the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Bill 2024 was tabled at the Dewan Rakyat for the Second Reading.
The amendment includes sections 4, 5, 9, 16, 21, 48, 67, 129, 136, new division 1A of Part II, and new section 43A which will be enforced on a date to be announced.
