MEETING NO. 557: CHOCOLATE
Drawing from the iconic line "Life is like a box of chocolates" from the beloved movie, Lay See, DTM beautifully explored the metaphorical connection between the sweetness and surprises of life and the myriad flavors found in a box of chocolates. Her theme served as a reminder that life is full of diverse experiences, each offering its unique flavor and opportunity for growth.
With an impressive repertoire of knowledge about various types of chocolate, the Table Topics Master, Oi Wah, DTM skillfully wove her passion for this delectable treat into the Table Topics session. She ingeniously incorporated chocolate references, captivating the participants, and taking them on a flavorful journey of impromptu speaking.
As each speaker (table topics and prepared speech) took the virtual stage, they skillfully intertwined their speeches with the meeting’s theme, creating a harmonious flow of ideas. The meeting became a melting pot of heartfelt stories, valuable lessons, and personal anecdotes, all contributing to the richness of the evening's experience.

MEETING NO. 559: TO INFINITY AND BEYOND |
In the realm of Toastmasters, limitations only exist within our minds, and at MTMC, we believe in harnessing the power of imagination to unlock boundless possibilities.
The recent meeting exemplified this belief, as members and guests were treated to inspiring speeches and valuable tips, leaving everyone feeling motivated and ready to embrace new challenges.
One of the highlights of the evening was Chris Hwang, EC1, taking the stage to share a heartfelt story about his own Toastmasters journey.
Chris's speech resonated deeply with the audience as he recounted the transformative impact Toastmasters has had on his life. This heartwarming tale served as a reminder of the profound connections and mentorship that thrive within our club.
Adding a touch of creativity to the meeting, Alice Liu, DTM, captivated the audience with her speech on "The Art of Taking a Good Selfie".
In today's digital age, where selfies have become a ubiquitous form of self-expression, Alice shared valuable insights and tips to capture the perfect snapshot. Among her advice was the simple yet powerful reminder to "smile naturally", a small but impactful gesture that can enhance the overall quality of our photographs. Attendees left the meeting equipped with practical knowledge to elevate their selfie game while embracing self-confidence and authenticity.

Remember, limitations are mere illusions that can be shattered through the power of imagination. Let us embrace the endless possibilities that lie ahead as we embark on this transformative journey together.
