BNM - Client Due Diligence Form  print
Further to our announcements dated 26 July 2017 and 29 September 2017, we now wish to inform members that the Client Due Diligence Form (CDD Form) has been re-formulated incorporating the provisions of the "Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) – Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs) & Other Non-Financial Sectors (Sector 5)" from Bank Negara Malaysia, and the Companies Act 2016 (CA2016).

The CDD Form aims to facilitate members in their efforts to implement a comprehensive risk-based approach in managing Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (ML/TF) risks, and monitoring ML/TF risks on top of compliance with the requirements and obligations imposed on them under the CA2016.
