Guidelines on Entry Requirements  print
Every applicant for registration as a student will be required to submit acceptable evidence that he/she has obtained an approved educational qualification. The following educational certificates will be accepted for this purpose:

1. 2 STPM / "A" level principal passes and 3 SPM / "O" level passes with a credit in English
2.
3 LCCI (Third Level) passes in relevant subjects and 3 credit passes with a credit in English. The relevant LCCI (Third Level) passes are as follows:
Accounting Cost Accounting
Advanced Business Calculations Economics
Auditing English for Business
Business and Industrial Management English for Commerce
Business and Information Systems Information Processing
Business Statistics Management Accounting
Commerce and Finance Principles of Management
Commercial Law
The three LCCI Higher Third Level passes must be accompanied by three SPM subjects credits, of which one must be a credit in English or English Language.

Pre-University Programmes
a) Western Australian Matriculation - Tertiary Entrance Examination (WATEE)
b) South Australian Matriculation
c) Canadian Matriculation Programme/Canadian Pre-University Programme
d) University Foundation Programme
These pre-university programmes must be accompanied by three SPM subjects credits, of which one must be a credit in English or English Language.

ICSA Matriculation programme conducted by approved colleges:-
a) Institut Perdagangan MARA
b) Institut Profesional Baitulmal
c) Help Institute
d) Yayasan Pelajaran MARA
e) Institut Teknologi MARA (ITM)
Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC)
a) Certificate in Accounting with Business Computing
b) Certificate in Business Studies (Business Administration)
c) Certificate in Business Studies (Accounting)
The Certificate must be accompanied by three SPM subject credits only.
Institut Perkim - Goon
a) Certificate in Business Administration in collaboration with Anglia Polytechnic University
b) Certificate in Business Studies
The Certificates must be accompanied by three SPM subjects credits, of which one must be a credit in English or English Language

The Ordinary Certificate in Business Studies awarded jointly by the Royal Society of Arts and the London Chamber of Commerce.

The National Computing Centre, UK

The Diploma must be accompanied by three SPM subjects credits, of which one must be a credit in English or English Language

Association of Business Executives

Diploma I and Diploma II in Business Administration

The Diploma must be accompanied by three SPM subjects credits, of which one must be a credit in English or English Language

Institut Usahawan Bumiputera
a) Certificate in Company Secretaryship
The Certificate must be accompanied by three SPM subjects credits, of which one must be a credit in English or English Language
Note
For candidates who do not have either a credit in English or English Language at either SPM or STPM level, the following English papers are also accepted for student registration:-
a) 1119 English
b) London Chamber of Commerce Examination - Intermediate English for Business or Commerce
c) Pitman Examinations Institute - English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at Higher Intermediate or Advanced Level
d) The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with band score of not less than 5.5
e) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with the following band scores :-
not less than 550 (for paper-based test)
not less than 213 (for computer-based test)
Mature Students Category
Individuals who are at least 21 years of age may apply for student registration under the mature students category, if they do not satisfy the minimum entry requirements for studentship. Applicants will be required to submit the following :-
a) a letter of recommendation from either their employers or the principal of their colleges regarding their standard of education
b) a certified true copy of their birth certificate.
