Mandatory CPD for Calendar Year 2015  print
As 2015 was the first year of implementation of Mandatory CPD, members who have not as yet complied with their CPD Hours are granted an extension until 29 February 2016 to comply with the requirements and enter their CPD Hours and make their declarations in the CPD Tracker System. All CPD Hours attended in January and February 2016 and applied for the 2015 CPD year cannot be used towards CPD compliance for 2016.

Please note that this extension is granted only for the 2015 CPD Year. For the 2016 CPD Year, members are required to comply with the requirements in 2016 itself. No extension of time will be granted for 2016.

Under the Mandatory CPD guidelines, all members in the corporate secretarial practice sector are required to attend 20 CPD Hours per annum whilst members who are not in the corporate secretarial sector are required to attend 10 CPD Hours per annum. Members are strongly encouraged to take action to comply with the Mandatory CPD requirements before the cut off period.

Failure to comply with the Mandatory CPD requirements is a violation of the regulations of the Institute and may subject members to disciplinary action in accordance with the ICSA Charter and Bye-Laws.
